ATM Version 3.0

I have updated the ATM tool. This free tool allows you to investigate memory usage on a system, particularly the system file cache, standby lists, and supercache.

New in 3.0 is the ability to clear out more parts of memory. The intent of adding this is to help those performing repeated performance tests. The idea is to try to get the OS into a known state without portions of files being cached in various places, such that each run of an identical should perform with consistent results (even if the performance would be less than a “normal system”).

Also new is the ability to report if the OS has detected any “bad” memory pages.
