In a bizarre twist, Microsoft has now brought back extended support for the App-V Server!
This is a a paid for form of support, and it means they’ll fix security issues only and (reportedly, I hear) you cannot open a support ticket against it.
This is for 3 years, ending October 9, 2029.
Coming 6 months after the end of life, this is quite unusual and highlights how many big customers have yet to migrate away. Of course, you should be moving to the replacement new OS native installer, MSIX.
