This hotfix addresses two issues that could occur:
- A virtual application cannot open a file for read/write when the file is present under the AppData/Local folder.
- When a package is updated at the client. In the scenario, a permission issue occurs resulting in error ending in 0x80070005.
The hotfix does require an email address, but the response appears automated.
The hotfix is an update patch for the client only. The downloaded file is an exe unpacker, that produces separate installers for the RDS and Windows Desktop clients.
