Just thought I'd post in the forum an issue we are experiencing since upgrading our client to 5.1. Running Windows 8.1 and 10, we are experiencing black screens after logon due to the explorer.exe process not being able to start. This is an intermittent fault and across all devices. So far we have applied the hotfix as well as delayed the startup of the AppV client service, but the fault seems to re-appear in some instances. Disabling or stopping the client service and manually starting explorer.exe, allows the login process to continue and the icons and task bar to appear.
Microsoft do not have much information for this as i think it may be a relatively new issue. I cant see the client being t blame here, but rather a conflict with something in our environment. If anyone out there has experienced similar issues, please let me know.
