You should try the Microsoft TechNet form for App-V on that question. I don't have an answer.

Hello,
I hope it is ok posting this here. If not, I apologize.
So recently I successfully packaged SQL Server Management Studio 2014 for 32 bit and it launches on the client side without issue. I know that VSIsoShell has to be installed locally but it is a 1.2 Gb install which for whatever reason cannot be reduced even though it has a custom install option. Because of the size of the install, I am getting pushback because the base image needs to stay small.
With that said, I decided to try using a connection group which is working as I expected but I am seeing the license error that is referring to the VSIsoShell bug which doesn't happen if I install it locally with the KB983509 fix. I am curious if there is a specific registry key setting that takes place with the KB983509 fix that might be able to help me get past this using a connection group? I am also trying to understand why the KB983509 fix doesn't register in the VSIsoShell package.
Thanks,
Robert
