[Sorry the fix took so long. I lost track of the request]

This issue should be resolved in version 3.4.0.0, which was released today.

OK. I understand now. That should be easy to do. It may take a few weeks due to travel. I'll reply on this thread when an update is posted.

Hi,

Sorry if I explained this the wrong way.
The problem appears when a folder at the same level as the appv apps has no access rights, like this:
\\share\packages\TestApp1
\\share\packages\TestApp2
\\share\packages\TestApp3
\\share\packages\DfsrPrivate <--- ACCESS DENIED
\\share\packages\TestApp4

Then the program will try to read all it finds before this folder and just stop when hitting an accessed denied folder.
By using ProcessMonitor this seems to be whats happening.
It would be nicer if it would just skip it and continue and work with what it has access to.

I am confused. If the tool is denied access to the top level share or folder, how is it supposed to walk the files/folders underneath?

Perhaps I mis-understood?

Hi,

Thanks for a great tool that is very useful.
CG files are difficult to manage manually and this tool simplifies this task with ease. :)
Unfortunately there is one issue with it... :(
If the root of the Package Storage UNC Path contains the DfsrPrivate link and have ACCESS DENIED to it, it will not continue reading the folders.
This ends up with no packages listed in the tool.
To bypass this we simply to use a different Package Storage UNC Path without this link in the root and all is working well.
Hopefully this issue can be permanently fixed in a new release?
