Briforum Europe 2008

September 28, 2008 I was a speaker at briForum Europe 2008(https://www.briforum.com) in Amsterdam the week of October 8. I did 3 presentations (updated from the briForum in Chicago).

  • The first session is part of a series I started last year to look into the Microsoft OS. Last year we looked at CPU thread scheduling in one session, and the Memory/Paging sub-systems in another.  This year’s session looked into the System File Cache of the OS.
  • The second session is a “SoftGrid BOF”. Ruben Sprujt, Kalle Suunamaki, and I host. We open with a couple of different SoftGrid case studies (a High School and an ASP) to get tongues wagging.
